Privacy

The short version

RapidBible has no accounts, no ads, and no cross-site tracking. Your settings and reading position are stored on your own device and are never sent anywhere. The only thing we collect is an anonymous count of page views.

What is stored on your device

RapidBible saves a small amount of information in your browser's localStorage so the app remembers how you like to read:

  • rsvp-bible-settings — reading speed, chunk size, pause timings
  • rsvp-bible-display — font size and font family
  • rsvp-bible-theme — dark, light, or automatic
  • rsvp-bible-position — the book, chapter, and verse you last read

This data stays in your browser on this device. It is never transmitted to us or to anyone else, and it is not used to identify you. Clearing your browser's site data removes all of it, and RapidBible will start fresh at John 1:1.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see roughly how many people visit and which pages they land on. It records page views, referring sites, and general location at the country level.

Cloudflare Web Analytics sets no cookies, writes nothing to your device, and does not use fingerprinting. It does not track you across websites or build a profile of you. Your IP address is processed momentarily to determine a country and is not stored or used to identify you.

Because nothing is stored on your device for analytics, RapidBible does not show a cookie consent banner.

What we never do

  • No accounts, sign-ups, or email collection
  • No advertising and no advertising networks
  • No selling or sharing of personal information
  • No record of what you read, beyond the position saved on your own device
  • No third-party scripts, fonts, or content delivery networks — everything but the analytics beacon is served directly from this site

Your rights

RapidBible holds no personal data about you, so there is nothing for us to look up, export, or delete on your behalf. Everything RapidBible knows about your reading lives on your device and is under your control. If you have a question about this policy, email contact@rapidbible.com.
